The Best Preparation For IELTS

The Most Awesome IELTS Preparation Begins here

One of the most important aspects of IELTS preparation is thoroughly understanding the pattern of the test. Knowing that there are 4 sections is easy. This is, by now, common knowledge. However, knowing how the test is exactly will go a long way in helping your IELTS practice time become more fruitful.

One of the ways to do this is to take an IELTS online test. The online exam will not only allow you to understand that pattern of the test but also let you know where you stand. The mock test will have questions from all sections.

You may take a free IELTS sample test straight way! If you are not sure about taking the test online, you are always welcome to walk into our offices to take a free pen and paper IELTS test, and also get information on how to start your IELTS exam preparation.

The mock test would have the following sub-tests.

The IELTS listening test: This consists of 4 sections with 40 questions, each of which you answer as you listen to the recording. If you feel the test is too long, you can skip to the next section which addresses your problems. ????

The IELTS reading test: This follows the listening test and just like the listening test contains 40 questions. These are spread across three sections. The questions are, also like the listening section, in increasing order of difficulty.

These sections are followed by the IELTS Writing section. Here you will be presented with two questions, to which you would have to present written (or typed) responses. The total time allotted is 60 minutes.

The IELTS mock test is completely free, and for this reason, will not have feature the IELTS Speaking section.

Why?

Irrespective of whether you are taking the Online IELTS test or the paper-based IELTS test, the speaking section is a one-to-one interaction with the examiner. If you are keen on assessing your speaking abilities, we could arrange for a personalised IELTS speaking test with one of our expert trainers.

Once again, you could take this test online, or take it offline.

I Feel This will take too long!

I am sure you are not alone in feeling this way. We are not keen on taking long tests outselves! ???? For this purpose alone, we have created a Mini IELTS test just for people like you (and us!). This test looks at the three non-interactive sessions (Listening, Reading, and Writing) that aim to quickly test you on all the areas the IELTS focuses on while having to spend only an hour altogether!
